Microblading is the Japanese Method of Semi Permanent Brows and is a manual, non-mechanical method which is relatively new. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as it's compared to the traditional hair stroke tattoo machine technique. It is done using a very fine blade (made up of 10-16 tiny, fine needles configured into a blade shape) to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because the color is placed in the epidermis, the top skin surface (rather than the dermis as with the machine tattoo method), the hair strokes appear and remain crisp and extremely fine.

This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows without anyone noticing. The results are very natural looking, feathered hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People who simply aren't happy with their eyebrows due to over plucking or aging (which can cause shortening, gaps and patchy brows) will benefit greatly from Microblading.

The pigments used in this method are 100% mineral and during the treatment are matched to your original or preferred eyebrow color. 

The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker due to skin reaction and the mineral pigment oxidation, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is crucial to have two touch ups done within the 3 month period, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

The results last approximately 1 year, depending on different factors such as clients skin type, sun exposure, chemicals contained in creams and beauty products applied to the skin which could fade and break down the pigment sooner etc.

***It is important to note that Oily Skin will not hold microblading pigment well or at all. It is recommended to get “powder” or “Nano” which is more permanent as it goes deeper into the skin for lasting results. Denver Brow Lounge does not perform “powder”, “nano” or any type of “tattoo” services but can refer to someone who does.

*A Color Boost Refresh 6 months to 1 year is recommended to retain the shape and freshen the color.

* Some clients (mostly those with blonde brows) may need to come sooner.

**Refreshers vary depending on client home care and skin. The time between appointments is dependent on how brows are cared for. The better the home care, the longer lasting results.
